STREET FOOD
Famous fried-fish noodle soup under a big banyan tree.
Long-loved spot for bún cá with fried fish pieces in a light but flavorful broth, often served under or near a big old tree (“cây si”). Bowls come with dill, herbs, and optional add-ins like tomato or pineapple depending on style. Space is casual and can spill onto the street with little stools and stainless tables. Excellent if you like fish but want something lighter than chả cá.
Usually straightforward to get a seat, though late mornings can be brisk.
Fish-based broth; suitable for pescatarians, not vegetarians or those avoiding fish.
