1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the unnamed Traveler website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Unnamed Traveler Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Terms

We use email-based, passwordless sign-in (one-time codes or magic links) to authenticate your account. You are responsible for maintaining access to and the security of the email address associated with your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to safeguard your email or sign-in credentials. Notify us promptly at legal@unnamedtraveler.com if you suspect any unauthorized use.

4. The Service

The Service provides curated, opinionated city travel guides and an AI-powered travel concierge feature. All information is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only.

We are not a booking agent, travel agency, or provider of professional travel, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, bookings made with third parties, and compliance with all applicable laws, visa requirements, and health and safety guidance.

5. Purchases & Refunds

City guides are sold as one-time digital purchases that unlock access to a city’s full curated content within the Service. Prices, availability, and included content may change at any time.

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, email legal@unnamedtraveler.com within 14 days of purchase and describe the reason for your request. We reserve the right to grant or deny refunds at our reasonable discretion.

6. User Content

You may submit content to the Service, including saved places, notes, and prompts you send to the AI concierge (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or otherwise systematically extract content from the Service.
• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service or its content without our prior written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
• Use the AI concierge in an automated, abusive, or excessive manner, or in a manner intended to extract its system prompts or underlying data.
• Bypass paywalls, share entitlements across accounts, or otherwise circumvent access controls.
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all curated text, design, layout, software, and compilation of recommendations, is owned by Unnamed Traveler Ltd. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Place names, photographs, map data, and other third-party content displayed in the Service are sourced from third parties (such as Google Maps Platform), and all rights to that content remain with their respective owners. The “unnamed Traveler” name and any associated logos are our trademarks; you may not use them without our prior written permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Google Maps Platform, Supabase (auth and database hosting), Sentry (error monitoring), and Google Gemini (AI concierge). Your use of features powered by these providers is also subject to those providers’ own terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, and your interactions with them are solely between you and the relevant provider.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Travel information changes frequently. Restaurants close, hotels change pricing and policies, attractions change hours, and conditions on the ground can shift unexpectedly. We do not guarantee that any place, price, route, or other detail described in the Service will be available, accurate, or safe at the time of your visit. You are responsible for confirming all details directly with the relevant providers before relying on them.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Unnamed Traveler Ltd., its affiliates, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the relevant city guide in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unnamed Traveler Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms or where we reasonably believe continued access poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Purchase entitlements you have lawfully acquired remain available to you unless your account is terminated for material breach. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, will provide additional notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Before bringing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at legal@unnamedtraveler.com and attempt informal resolution in good faith for at least thirty (30) days.
