Michelin-starred sidewalk antojería hand-pressing heirloom corn to order.

Comal Oculto is a Michelin-starred antojería in San Miguel Chapultepec where a single chef hand-presses and griddles heirloom corn tortillas to order at a communal table. There is no menu—you sit, watch, and eat whatever comes off the comal, from flautas to chilaquiles to blue-corn quesadillas. The whole operation fits in two parking spaces on a tree-lined residential street. No reservations—show up and wait, especially on weekends. One of Mexico City's most unique and rewarding food experiences.
